Privacy notice
Last updated: 23 October 2026
The short version: I only use your details to reply to you and, if we work together, to build and look after your website. I never sell them. This website sets no cookies and doesn't track you.
Who I am
Pulse Flow Studio is run by Craig Sawyers, a sole trader based in South Wales. I decide how your details are used, so I'm responsible for them.
Questions or requests: craig@pulseflowstudio.co.uk
What I collect
- When you use the contact form or email me: your name, business name, email, your website address if you give it, and your message.
- If you become a client: the details needed to build your site, send invoices and take payment.
- If I contact your business first: your business name, business email, website and phone number, taken from public places such as your website, Google Maps and Companies House.
Why I use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote or a free mock-up. That's a step you've asked for before a contract.
- To build and look after your website and send invoices, as part of our contract.
- To keep records for tax, because the law requires it.
- To tell a business about my services once, with an easy way to say no. That's my legitimate interest in finding customers, and I only email limited companies this way.
Who else handles it
I use a few trusted services to run the business. They only use your details to provide their service to me:
- Formspree passes contact form messages to my inbox.
- Google Workspace runs my email.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and keeps short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep it safe and working.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver the fonts and animation code, so your browser shares your IP address with them when the page loads.
Some of these companies are based in the US. Where your details leave the UK, they're protected by UK-approved safeguards, such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contract terms.
I never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that don't go further: up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Client records and invoices: 6 years after our work ends, because tax law requires it.
- If you ask me not to contact you: I keep a note of your email only so I don't contact you again.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising tools, so there's nothing to accept or turn off.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- send you a copy of the details I hold about you,
- correct anything that's wrong,
- delete your details,
- stop using them, including for marketing.
Just email craig@pulseflowstudio.co.uk. I'll reply within one month, and it's free.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If I change how I use your details, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
